The Sunroom

Grab your friends and family and party in this intimate, light-filled private dining room. With exposed brick, wooden floorboards and an art deco chandelier The Sunroom is located in the front entrance of our captivating heritage-listed building. Escape with friends for a mid-week cocktail class, wine tasting or enjoy G&T high tea served with a twist. The Garden

A secret garden hideaway in the heart of the city, with a splash of traditional English garden party. An outside space inspired by the old world, that embraces the seasons and extends Baedeker’s signature hospitality. This space has a plantation vibe reminiscent of colonial times, and being positioned along one of Brisbane’s original railway lines is intermittently authenticated further by the sound of passing trains.

The Cellar

A prohibition inspired hideaway, concealed behind a rotating bookcase. A space to indulge; book in for an intimate wine or whisky tasting night or wow friends, family or colleagues with a private dining experience. A rustic table built in the room with 5m long single lengths of Australian native wood seats 18 people in what is surely one of Brisbane’s most private dining rooms.

The Acland Room

An extension of Baedeker’s old world charm, the Acland Room is a characterful yet raw space, where guests can bring their dream event to life in the backdrop of exposed brick and beautiful decorative architraves. The Acland Room is our largest event space – tucked away behind closed doors with plenty of natural light and private access available. The Acland Room adjoins the Garden for events that require indoor and outdoor use – perfect for weddings.
